COVID-19 Update 8th October 2021

1 Hour Click and Collect - Same Day Service

During the current Auckland Level 3 restrictions we will be open for Click and Collect purchases 7 days a week. Orders will be ready for collection within 1 hour of ordering.

Wednesday - Friday: 10am - 4pm
Saturday - Tuesday: 10am - 2pm

COVID-19 Update 17th Septmeber 2021
We would like to thank everyone who has placed orders over the last six weeks, your patience and support are very much appreciated.

While Auckland is still at level 4, we are preparing for the indicated shift to level 3 on Wednesday 22nd of September.

As you are aware any non-essential products, like ours, were not permitted to be shipped by any Auckland retailer during Auckland Level 4. We appreciate your patience in this period and look forward to dispatching your orders as soon as we enter Level 3.

At this stage, we are working on the assumption that we will be in Level 3 on Wednesday the 22nd of September. Given that date, these are our current important Dates:

Monday 20th - Collating Orders
We will be working (from home) to collate and organise all outstanding orders, any orders that are going to the same address will be combined and refunds will be given for excess shipping. If you would like to add anything to your current order you are able to by placing another order prior to 8am Monday (delivery refunds will be applied Monday). If would like to make changes to an order (e.g. change to pick up), please get in touch prior to 8am Monday.

Wednesday 22nd - Click and Collect Open
We will be open for click and collect from 10am. If you would like to change your delivery order to pick up, please let us know prior to 8am Monday.

While we will be starting to dispatch orders on Wednesday the 22nd, due to the volume of orders, and potential courier constraints, there may be a few delays. We expect to have all orders dispatched by Thursday the 23rd of September.

While at Level 3 there will be changes to our standard opening hours, we will be open for click and collect:
Wednesday - Friday: 10am - 4pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 2pm
If you require collection outside of these hours, please contact us to arrange.

Reminders when using click and collect:
1. You must scan the Tracing QR Code or supply contact details
2. You must wear a mask
3. We will have a collection point at the door
4. Please stay 2m apart from other click and collect customers
5. Payments to be made through website or paywave/eftpos (no cash)

Hobby Games and COVID19 Level 4 - 17/08/2021

Hobby Games will be closed during level 4.
 
This also means that all events are canceled, we will reschedule our Family Games Day when we are able to.
 
You are still able to place online orders and these will be shipped when COVID Level allows.

As Auckland is moving back into level 2 on Sunday we have a bit of a mixed weekend.
Saturday 6th: We will be open for Click and Collect from 1pm - 3pm
Sunday 7th: Open standard 10am - 4pm, as under Level 2 we will be one group in at a time. Thanks for your understanding.

Hobby Games and COVID19 Level 2 - 19/02/2021
The weekend Hobby Games will be open under COVID level 2 guidelines.

One of these guidelines is physical distancing requirements. Due to the need to keep 2m apart, we will only be allowing one group in at a time, with a 1 group out 1 group in system. As always, there is the COVID tracing QR code at the door, and if you don't have the tracing app we can take your details on a register. There is hand sanatiser at the door, for you to use on the way in (and out if you would like).

If you have purchased online (or do so while waiting) we are able to drop this at the door when you arrive (and can accept EFTPOS at the door). To do this just send us a message via Facebook or 022 477 4661 and we will bring it out

Hobby Games and COVID19 Level 2.5 - 01/09/2020
During Level 2.5/2 Hobby Games will remain as click and collect, however we will also be accepting “door sales” and payment on pick up. While we are allowed to fully open, we have deemed that the health and safety of our customers has to take priority. If you have been into the store you will know that it is not always possible to keep the required 2m physical distance from other people while in the store.
From this weekend Hobby Games will be open from 12pm-3pm Saturday and Sunday for the collection of online purchases, both prepaid and pay on pickup. Also, if you know what you are after, or are happy to have a chat at the door, we can assist with purchases from the store, but we will not be letting customers into the store to browse.

 

Hobby Games and COVID19 Level 3 - 14/08/2020

We are open online for contactless courier Delivery and Click and Collect under Auckland Level 3.

Collection Times:
Saturday and Sunday: Morning 10am-11am, or Afternoon 2pm-3pm

After placing an order please let us know which time window you would like to pick up in, we will then have your order ready for pick up. We will not be able cash or Eftpos/Credit durnig this time.

Hobby Games store is open again 

As you are all aware, COVID level 2 comes with its own challenges. One of these is physical distancing requirements. Due to the need to keep 2m apart, we will only be allowing one group in at a time, with a 1 out 1 in system. There will be hand sanatiser at the door, and you will be required to use this on the way in (and out if you would like).

If you have purchased online (or do so while waiting) we are able to drop this at the door when you arrive (and can accept EFTPOS at the door). To do this just send us a message via Facebook or 022 477 4661 and we will bring it out.

While we do realise that this is not ideal, but your safety (and ours) is important to us.

Hobby Games and COVID19 Level 2 - 12/05/2020

We will be open for Click and Collect from Thursday 14th of May.

Collection Times:
Weekdays: By Appointment
Saturday and Sunday: Morning 10am-11am, or Afternoon 1pm-3pm

We will have EFTPOS available during collection, select "Pay on Pickup" during checkout (the EFTPOS machine will be wiped down after each use).

When you are collecting we would request that you send us a message via text, Facebook, or email with an expected pick up time. When you arrive we will have your order ready for pickup at the door, all we will need from you is your name and order number. Please wait on the footpath if someone else is currently collecting their order to ensure we follow physical distancing guidelines.

Reading through the current retail guidelines we have made the decision, at this stage, not to open the store for anything other than click and collect. We will be re-assessing this after each government announcement, and ensuring that when we open we will comply 100%.

COVID-19 UPDATE - 26/04/2020

We are back online! 

During COVID-19 Level 3 we will be continuing to sell online, with contactless courier delivery. Please be aware that courier times may be longer than normal due to demand on their services. 

The physical store will remian closed (pick-up not available), we expect click and collect to be back online in level 2. Any items selected for pickup will be put aside for when we re-open the physical store.
